Avis Budget Group - Tolling Rental Car Solution Pilot Implementation and Management
Developed and piloted the Roads & Maritime Services (RMS) Tolling Solution for rental cars. Pilot was implemented at two initial locations for proof of concept trialing. Trial commenced with 750 vehicles from a total national fleet size of 32,000. Trial evaluation checkpoints and reports were undertaken with client engagement and reporting on a weekly basis to track trial progress and solution viability. Trial period was initially set as 6 months where a post trial evaluation was conducted confirming the success of the partnership through quantitative and qualitative evaluation.
The success of the solution design, pilot structure and management provided our client with a solution to implement nationally.
Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) - eMU Pass Review, Profiling & Commercialisation
Undertook product analysis to determine product process efficiencies opportunities to improve customer experience, decrease cost and improve profitability. Completed process mapping and problem identification for redesign of process sequences resulting in significant improvement in product profitability and customer experience. The eMU product was established as an industry leading casual toll road user product which achieved improved revenue for RMS, provided seamless customer transactions throughout the length of the eMU pass and improved cost recovery and toll compliance.
Fairfax Newspapers - Client & Business Development and Sales Strategies
Resources of Sweetwater were assigned the project of increasing growth by proactively networking with key clients on a regular basis, new potential clients through servicing needs and expectations and promoting the benefits of various customer appealing strategies. In particular Sweetwater was tasked with identifying key market targets and developing appropriate marketing strategies to ensure revenue growth and expansion target could be met. The success of an aggressive market growth strategy resulted in a significate increase in Fairfax Newspaper
National Wireless Pty Ltd – Product Development and Sales
National Wireless specialise in the
sale of Digital & Analog technology systems and equipment, including National Wireless TETRA systems through tailored solutions to the specific requirements of each individual customer. The Sweetwater team were engaged to developed the sales and marketing strategy with corporate targets to achieve and improved customer patronage through greater market awareness of products and overall increased revenue. Since the involvement of the Sweetwater team has resulted in a significant increase in the customer awareness profile of National Wireless and marked improvement in product take-up and revenue increases.
Transport for New SouthWales (TfNSW) – Toll Relief Program
The Toll Relief Program is a NSW Government initiative to ease the cost of living for frequent NSW toll road users with free vehicle registration will be given to owners of privately registered light vehicles depending on their annual toll spend. The Program requirement was the result of a government desire to implement strategies to ease the cost of living for citizens of NSW. To design and develop the product various experts were engaged including Sweetwater resources, whereby Sweetwater played in integral role in product design, technical solution and customer experience mapping. This provided the Minister with a new customer led product solution to be successfully implemented by 1 July 2018. This was achieved as a result of the Program role Sweetwater resources played in the successful product design, go to market strategy and customer experience mapping.
Hertz Car Rentals – Market Alternative Rental Car Solution
Hertz Australia approach the team of Sweetwater seeking a rental car tolling solution that would set them apart from other solutions in the market. A brand defining solution was developed and trialled through Hertz branches in Melbourne as part of a product pilot. This included customer appetite for product and customer attraction and churn potential.
After a strong trial period Hertz overwhelmingly agreed that their designed solution achieved their goals of providing customers a distinct choice for rental car solutions, increasing their customer growth and patronage and driving customer loyalty.
Chembase International - Strategy and Advisory Services
Provided strategic, regulatory, and operational advice as an Advisory Board member and consultant for Chembase International for the worldwide implementation of products for the construction of road infrastructure.
Heavy Vehicle Weigh Right Programme
Current weight enforcement processes disrupt the journeys of large numbers of compliant vehicles because of poor targeting capability. Increased compliance will reduce the road safety risk and unpaid-for infrastructure wear associated with overweight vehicles, and will secure a level playing field for operators. We delivered project review of the New Zealand Transport Agency’s Weigh Right Programme and action recommendations to improve project delivery and achieve required outcomes. We examined and delivered executive review of project end-to-end elements with specific focus on site infrastructure (HV inspection stations and roadside infrastructure), technology (WIM, ANPR), operations (including legislative, policy, process), system integration and transitioning activities. We were also engaged to deliver the final Concept of Operations for the Programme.
Toowoomba Second Range Crossing
The TSRC is a joint federal and state funded $1.6 billion project. The TSRC is a 41km bypass route north of Toowoomba, connecting the Warrego Highway at Helidon Spa in the east to Gore Highway at Athol in the west via Charlton. The TSRC created a safer, faster and more efficient route for connecting freight to major ports and markets. This was achieved by diverting heavy vehicle highway traffic onto the TSRC rather than through the city and avoiding up to 18 sets of traffic lights. We were engaged to deliver tolling commercial services for the Department of Transport Main Roads (QLD) Toowoomba Bypass, generating agency efficiencies. Deliverables included Tolling Operation Readiness Working Group Terms of Reference, Change Management Strategy, Change Management Plan, Communications Plan, Task plan and Responsibility Matrix, draft functional/role responsibilities and proposed operational structuring.
